Degersheim trail
This also includes a unique view far beyond Lake Constance and the city boundaries.
Fog-free location, snowed forests, shimmering and bright sunshine – this offers the Degersheim trail. It is located above the village, which became famous in the 19th century due to its embroidery industry, on a plain, which reaches from Wolfensberg to the far away hamlet Moos.
The wonderful panoramic views to Alpstein with Säntnis, Glarus Alps, Zurich Oberland, Thurgau and far above Lake Constance to Germany and Austria invite to linger for a while. The different enter and exit points allow the winter sportsmen also to run only a part of the trail.
Exercising in the fresh air makes hungry: there are two restaurants directly at the trail. There are also restaurants in Wofertswil or in the small hamlet Weiler Magdenau with its Cistercian nuns monastery from the 13th century.
Author’s recommendation
If you are hungry there are two restaurants right next to the trail: Hotel Wolfensberg and Restaurant Moosbad
